ARQIS advises Bübchen Skincare on entry into “Blaue Helden”
30. November 2020
ARQIS has advised Bübchen Skincare GmbH (wholly-owned subsidiary of Katjes International GmbH & Co. KG) on the participation in the start-up Blaue Helden.
Instead of disposable plastic bottles, Blaue Helden offers Power Tabs, which are dissolved either in Blaue Helden’s reusable bottles or any other cleaning agent bottle. The tabs are available as bath, all-purpose and glass cleaners and as washing-up liquid in the largest drugstore chains. Soon the distribution in an own online store will follow. The cleaning tabs are biodegradable and free of microplastics. Blaue Helden and Bübchen Skincare have a very high level of coverage among their customers, especially in drugstores.
“We are delighted with the sustainability potential of Blaue Helden. In Germany alone, more than 800 million detergent and hand soap plastic bottles are thrown away every year,” says Martin Kemper, Managing Director of Bübchen Skincare. “We were also convinced by the expertise of Mr. Heeren, who as a former P&G manager knows the washing, care and cleaning products sector and the trade very well.”
Katjes is a long-standing client of ARQIS. The team around Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze advised the company in the past years for example on the investment in the British start-up Candy Kittens as well as in the Cologne start-up SD Sugar Daddies GmbH.
