ARQIS advises Black Horse on the acquisition of Düsseldorf Fashion Houses
04. April 2018
ARQIS has advised Black Horse Investments on the acquisition of the Fashion Houses in Düsseldorf. A financial investor is seller of the Fashion Houses which emerged in the 1970s and 1980s.
Black Horse plans to develop the area into an attractive city quarter.
The city of Dusseldorf has already developed initial ideas in workshops with citizens. As part of the concept of living, up to 500 new apartments and a day care centre for children are planned. Ideally there should also be restaurants and shops for daily needs according to the retail plan. In the discussion are also office space and a hotel.
Black Horse – or rather the Schwarz-Schütte family behind it – is a long-time client of ARQIS partner Andreas Dietl, who leads the private client practice at ARQIS. The law firm regularly advises Black Horse on corporate and real estate matters, most recently in connection with its involvement with the Dreischeibenhaus in Düsseldorf and the Springer Quartier in Hamburg.
