ARQIS advises Black Horse on joint venture aimed at acquiring HSBC's head office in Düsseldorf

ARQIS has advised Black Horse Investments GmbH regarding a joint venture to acquire the headquarter of the commercial bank HSBC in Düsseldorf. Black Horse is acquiring the property on Königsallee together with family office Wirtgen Invest and investment manager Momeni. The vendor is HSBC.
Following the departure of the bank’s staff by the end of 2021, a high-quality development with usable space of around 20,000 square meters is planned. Office, retail and restaurant space as well as 225 parking spaces are to be built. HSBC Germany, meanwhile, will unite all employees in Düsseldorf at the new headquarter on the border of the districts Oberkassel and Heerdt.
