ARQIS advises CONSTELLATION on investment in e-mobility

17. September 2018

ARQIS has advised financial investor CONSTELLATION CAPITAL on an investment in eldisto GmbH – an online distributor of electric bicyles.

CONSTELLATION V, a fonds advised by CONSTELLATION CAPITAL, invested in eldisto and plans to integrate eldisto into the newly founded Swiss E-Mobility Group AG, consolidating all future investments by CONSTELLATION V in e-mobility under one umbrella. The Swiss Colag AG is already part of that group.

Eldisto was founded in Nuremberg in 2009 by Harald Tasch and Andreas Serwotka in order to distribute e-bikes, fat bikes, bicycle accessories and retrofit kits in the DACH region. Today, eldisto operates the bicyle platforms elektrofahrrad-einfach.de and fatbike24.de, which have successfully established on the growing e-bike market over the past few years, partly thanks to their private labels Yupik, Rittberger and Elfej.

CONSTELLATION is an investment group founded in 1992 and based at Lake Zurich. CONSTELLATION’s business is focused solely on majority stakes in service companies based in Switzerland, Germany or Austria, which operate in business services, education & lifestyle, healthcare or financial services.

This is the first time ARQIS has advised CONSTELLATION. The contact was established by Prof. Dr. Christopf von Einem, partner at ARQIS Munich.
