ARQIS advises BIMwelt on the entry of Zech and BitStone Capital

14. March 2018

ARQIS has advised Stuttgart-based BIMwelt Systems GmbH on its Series A financing round and on the entry of two investors. Together with BitStone Capital from Cologne, the Bremen-based Zech Group invests in one of the pioneers in the digitization of the construction industry.

BIMwelt Systems is a specialist in the field of 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) – a planning method in which all those involved in the planning process can be integrated into the various projects and networked and thus access relevant c omponent information. BIMwelt Systems is currently worldwide the only supplier that can create BIM content automatically, connect BIM software solutions directly, map sales and consulting on a database-based platform and who already cooperates with well-known component manufacturers.

Through this investment, Zech Group and BitStone Capital are positioning themselves directly in one of the core fields that will shape the future of the construction industry. With the help of the new capital, BIMwelt Systems will, among other things, promote the expansion of its own technical platform and the acquisition of further customer and cooperation partners.

The ARQIS team around the Munich partner Prof. Dr. Christoph von Einem has regularly advised BIMwelt Systems since the company was founded.
