The Düsseldorf office of ARQIS Rechtsanwälte is to be strengthened as of 1 July 2016 by the transaction specialist » Dr. Lars Laeger «. The 36-year-old comes from Clifford Chance and will be a partner with ARQIS.

From 2009, Dr. Lars Laeger was employed at the Frankfurt office of Clifford Chance and was part of the M&A team. There, he especially gained experience in national and international corporate acquisitions, but also in joint ventures, restructurings and mergers.

With the latest addition, Arqis’ Corporate/M&A practice group has a total of 32 accredited professionals at its Düsseldorf, Munich and Tokyo offices. Dr. Laeger is the second M&A lateral entrant for the law firm this year, after Dr. Daniel Wied from DLA Piper joined the Munich office in January.
