ARQIS has advised Porcher Industries, headquartered in Badinières (France), on the acquisition of P-D Interglas Technologies GmbH through a newly founded group company within the framework of an asset deal.

The acquisition was notarized by Dresden notary Dr. Georg Schildge and includes all business operations, work-force resources, assets, infrastructure and brand rights of Interglas Technologies. The parties have agreed to maintain secrecy regarding the purchase price.

Interglas Technologies GmbH is part of the larger Preiss-Daimler Group and has over 50 years experience in the manufacturing and innovation of glass, carbon, basalt, aramid and other synthetic fabrics. Headquartered in Germany, with production facilities in Erbach (Donau), the company is a key supplier of technical fabrics, both within Germany and worldwide.

Porcher Industries is a leader in technical textiles and thermoplastic composite solutions. The switchover from P-D Interglas Technologies GmbH to Porcher Industries Germany will start from the beginning of October, with the current highly experienced Interglas workforce of 155 moving accross from this point, too.
