ARQIS advises Pilkington on acquisition of Teuto-Glas

ARQIS has advised Pilkington Holding GmbH on the acquisition of the material assets of Teuto-Glas GmbH & Co. KG through a newly founded group company within the framework of an asset deal.

At the end of September the insulating glass manufacturer filed for insolvency in self administration at Detmold Local Court. The lawyer Stefan Meyer from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed as supervisor. The parties have agreed to maintain secrecy regarding the purchase price.

Pilkington will ensure continuation of production in Bad Bentheim and the majority of the jobs there. The glass manufacturer Pilkington belongs to the listed company Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) Group from Japan. The NSG Group is a global leader in manufacturing glass and glass products for the areas Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.
