ARQIS advises Track Tec on the Acquisition of the Railway Track Materials Plant in Coswig from ThyssenKrupp

ARQIS has advised Track Tec GmbH on the acquisition of the production of turnouts and tension clamps in Coswig from ThyssenKrupp GfT Gleistechnik. All employees at the site are going to be taken over. The acquisition comprises all assets belonging to the site.

The Track Tec Group has its headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany, and is a supplier of railway superstructure materials. The essential features of its product range are in-house manufactured. Approximately half of all sleepers and every second turnout in the Polish railway network were produced by the Track Tec Group. The export currently represents 30 % of the turnover, with a strong growth in the future.

The acquired track materials plant is located in Coswig/Saxony-Anhalt, it shall be integrated into the existing production and distribution of the various railway track materials by the Track Tec Group. This site is the seventh plant of the Track Tec Group. The company already operates five locations for the production of turnouts, concrete sleepers and wooden sleepers in Poland as well as a switch assembly plant in Leuna, also in Saxony-Anhalt.
