ARQIS advises Bencis Capital Partners on the acquisition of KODIAK GmbH

ARQIS provided legal advice to Bencis VII Coöperatief U.A. ("Bencis") on the acquisition of KODIAK GmbH ("KODIAK"). KODIAK is a Hamburg-based service provider specializing in the renewable energy sector, offering owner’s engineering and EPC management services. The founders, Björn Dob-berstein and Marcel Traber, will remain co-shareholders.

Founded in 2017, the company has quickly established itself as a recognized independent specialist in the implementation of large-scale energy infrastructure projects. With additional offices in Berlin and Grimmen, KODIAK covers the full project lifecycle – from early-stage strategic consulting and technical project management through to on-site construction supervision. Its clients include major transmission system operators, local grid operators, and project developers that deploy KODIAK on some of the most significant onshore and offshore infrastructure projects in Europe.

KODIAK is benefiting from the continued high level of investment required in European electricity and energy infrastructure. In addition to organic growth, the company plans to expand its service offering through targeted acquisitions and to enter new markets.

Bencis is an investment company focused on the DACH region and the Benelux countries. For more than 20 years, it has partnered with mid-sized companies in sectors such as industry, services, healthcare, and retail to support their growth.
