ARQIS has advised AVS Verkehrssicherung GmbH (“AVS”), a portfolio company of Triton Fonds IV, on the acquisition of Traffics A/S (“Traffics”), a Danish construction and traffic safety provider based in Gadstrup, Denmark. Silence has been agreed on the purchase price.
Founded in 2006, Traffics offers complete solutions, services and equipment for construction sites- and traffic security. Its customers are road construction companies as well as public works and communities.
“We have a long-standing and trusting business relationship with Traffics. Together, AVS and Traffics can offer their customers in the Danish market a comprehensive product and service portfolio that meets the highest demands”, comments Dirk Schönauer, Managing Director at AVS.
AVS is a leading specialist provider of highway traffic safety services in Germany. The Company, headquartered in Kuerten, offers all essential services throughout highway traffic-safety projects. These services range from initial planning and obtaining permits to complete construction site setup and security. AVS has a nationwide presence with 14 locations across Germany and around 600 employees.
This is the third transcation that ARQIS has accompanied for AVS. In October 2018, the team advised Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze AVS on the acquisition of Verkehrssicherungen Plank GmbH, based in Remseck am Neckar, a provider in the field of construction site and traffic safety. In August 2018, ARQIS assisted AVS in the acquisition of KMK Projects, a leading provider of road safety products as well as permanent road marking in Latvia.
The Danish law has been supervised by Poul Schmith Law Firm. Anders Kjær Dybdahl’s team had already supported the acquisition of a Danish company for another ARQIS client at the beginning of 2018.
