ARQIS advises TRIGO Group on acquisition in Germany

06. July 2016

ARQIS has advised the TRIGO Group, an international provider of operational quality management solutions for the manufacturing industry, with the expansion of its business activities in Germany.

TRIGO has signed an agreement with Franz Böllinger, founder and chairman of the Böllinger Group, to acquire Böllinger, the Group’s automotive quality assurance services subsidiary.

The transaction is subject to merger control in Germany. It closely follows the acquisition of a majority stake in TRIGO by independent private investment company Ardian.

TRIGO is headquartered in Paris and already represented by around 7,000 professionals in more than 20 countries. Until now its activities in Germany have been mainly in the aerospace industry, with offices in Bremen and Hamburg. By joining forces with Böllinger, TRIGO will be able to provide its automotive clients in Germany with a comprehensive portfolio of quality support services and a network of more than 150 quality professionals covering the whole of the country. Böllinger clients will now be able to benefit from TRIGO’s international footprint to support their quality needs.

This is the first time ARQIS has advised TRIGO and was recommended by goetzpartners. The Corporate Finance Team at goetzpartners, led by Christian Muthler and Daniel Aazami, managed the transaction for TRIGO.
