ARQIS has advised SchneiderGolling & Cie. Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, the SG Group holding company, Capitol Immobilien GmbH and Mr. Robert Litwak on the sale of their shares in plusForta GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the sale.

“We are delighted that in Aareal Bank we have found a forward-looking strategic partner whose portfolio we are supplementing and with whom we can make our digital services available to an even larger clientele than before,” said Robert Litwak, Managing Director of plusForta GmbH.

plusForta GmbH, based in Düsseldorf and with an office in Berlin, was founded in 2008 by SchneiderGolling & Cie. Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH and Capitol Immobilien GmbH. The company uses the two online platforms kautionsfrei.de and kautionsfuchs.de to successfully broker deposit guarantees from R+V Versicherung and Württembergische Versicherung to tenants of apartments and commercial properties. Deposit guarantees have already established themselves as an alternative to cash deposits and are accepted as rental security deposit. The number of guarantee contracts brokered to date is around 160,000.

The team around Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze has been advising the SchneiderGolling Group on stock corporation law and transactions for many years. Most recently on the sale of the industrial brokerage business to AON. ARQIS is grateful for the confidence to have accompanied the company and its co-shareholders in this important sale.
