ARQIS has advised the SchneiderGolling Group on the sale of its German commercial and industrial broker business. The purchaser is Aon Versicherungsmakler Deutschland GmbH.

Within the course of this transaction Aon is taking over the shares of SchneiderGolling IFFOXX Assekuranzmakler AG and the business stakes in SchneiderGolling Industrie Assekuranzmaklergesellschaft mbH. The condition for the takeover is the approval of the responsible anti-trust authorities.

In future the target companies will be named “SG IFFOXX Assekuranzmakler GmbH – Ein Unternehmen der Aon-Gruppe”. The company’s headquarters will be in Rosenheim. A total of around 60 employees will begin to work for the new planned company. Aon is the leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing services. Aon has 72,000 employees in more than 120 countries.

The team headed by Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze has advised the SchneiderGolling Group on stock corporation law and transactions for many years. ARQIS is grateful for the trust shown by being also selected to advise on this important sale of the commercial and industrial business.
