The ARQIS partner meeting unanimously elected Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier as Managing Partner of the law firm. The 45-year-old equity partner takes over the function for four years and with retroactive effect to the beginning of the fiscal year on January 1, 2018. The position has been newly introduced in the office.

“Since its founding twelve years ago, ARQIS has grown from a handful of employees to around 45 lawyers at three locations, and has built an excellent market position,” explains Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier. “I look forward to advancing further growth as well as strategic law firm projects as Managing Partner in the coming years.”

ARQIS plans to hire especially M&A laterals. A Chief Operation Officer (COO) will be deployed in a timely manner as the link between the Managing Partner and the Business Services department, which has been continuously expanded in recent years. The decision-making processes are streamlined overall and the management is effectively supported in the long term.

Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier is one of the partners who founded ARQIS. The employment lawyer has acted as HR partner in the law firm for many years prior to her most recent appointment. She will continue to be active as an advisor and lead the 12-person labour law team.
