ARQIS advises terraplasma medical during first financing round

ARQIS has advised the Munich-based medical engineering company terraplasma medical GmbH on its first financing round. Several private and experienced investors jointly provided the company with a seven-digit sum of money in euros.
Terraplasma Medical GmbH was founded in 2016 and develops a medical device for the treatment of wounds with cold plasma. It is a joint venture between the ARQIS client Dynamify GmbH and terraplasma GmbH, founded by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Gregor Morfill and the Max Planck Society.
The lead investors are experienced business angels from the Munich and Stuttgart region. Jens Kirsch, managing director of terraplasma medical GmbH, commented on the successful financing round: “We are delighted to have secured such an experienced and well-networked group of investors, in order to now be able to purposely implement our vision of innovative wound treatment with cold plasma.”
