Best Law Firms 2027: Top scores for ARQIS

In the latest “Best Law Firms – Germany 2027” ranking by Best Lawyers and Handelsblatt, ARQIS has received numerous distinctions at the national and regional levels. ARQIS has improved its standing compared to last year in several practice areas: Labor and Employment Law has moved up to Tier 1 in Bavaria, and Corporate Law to Tier 2. In the practice area of Tax Law, ARQIS has been recognized in Bavaria for the first time. At the same time, ARQIS has confirmed numerous strong rankings at the national and regional levels.

Six Top Rankings in North Rhine-Westphalia

In North Rhine-Westphalia, ARQIS is ranked in “Regional Tier 1” in six practice areas: Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice, Corporate Law, Data Security and Privacy Law, Labor and Employment Law, Litigation, and Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

Additional ARQIS rankings in “Regional Tier 2” include: Arbitration and Mediation, Employee Benefits Law, Private Equity Law, Public Law, and Regulatory Practice. The firm is ranked in “Regional Tier 3” for Insurance Law and Product Liability Litigation.

Bavaria: Several New Entries

In the current edition, ARQIS is ranked in “Regional Tier 1” (Bavaria) in two practice areas: Labor and Employment Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law. In the area of Mergers and Acquisitions Law, ARQIS thus defends its Tier 1 ranking. Labor and Employment Law is listed in the highest regional category for the first time.

Corporate Law moves up from Tier 3 to Tier 2 in Bavaria.

A new addition is the practice area of Tax Law. Here, ARQIS is ranked in Tier 3 for the first time. Also listed in Tier 3 are Intellectual Property Law, Litigation, and Media Law.

Nationwide Rankings in Five Practice Areas

ARQIS has maintained all of its national rankings from the previous year: Corporate Law, Data Security and Privacy Law, Labor and Employment Law, and Mergers and Acquisitions Law each received top ratings as “National Tier 2.” Litigation was once again ranked Tier 3.

The Best Lawyers Special ranks law firms in 60 legal practice areas according to the number of rec-ommendations, divided into a national and a regional ranking. In addition, the ‘Law Firm of the Year’ award is granted in 23 legal practice areas considered to be particularly important according to Best Lawyers. For the evaluation, Best Lawyers uses a peer review survey in which lawyers vote for those colleagues they consider especially recommendable.
