Constellation Capital launches facility management buy-and-build platform with ARQIS advice

ARQIS has advised Constellation Capital AG on all legal and tax aspects of establishing Altera Facility Solutions GmbH, a new buy-and-build platform for facility management services, and on the platform’s first acquisition: the purchase of DAV Gebäudeservice GmbH. Through this transaction, Constellation Capital, acting through its Constellation VII fund, is laying the foundation for a facility management group across the DACH region. DAV will continue to operate independently in the market while taking on a central role within the group as Altera’s founding company. DAV’s former managing director and shareholder will remain actively involved in the business and will reinvest in Altera as part of the transaction.

Altera Facility Solutions GmbH is set to become a leading service group for facility management in the German-speaking market. The companies joining the platform are expected to benefit from shared structures, established operational standards and the professionalisation of processes and systems.

Headquartered in Bielefeld, DAV Gebäudeservice GmbH is a leading regional provider of infrastructural facility management services. Founded in 1930, the company specialises in maintenance and specialist cleaning, floor refurbishment and facility services for industrial, commercial and administrative properties.
