()

ARQIS advised AVS Verkehrssicherung GmbH (“AVS”), a Triton Fund IV company, on the acquisition of Verkehrssicherungen Plank GmbH located in Remseck am Neckar, a provider of services for traffic and building sites safety. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

Verkehrssicherungen Plank GmbH was founded in 1998 and offers services in the areas of traffic and building sites safety in the Stuttgart region and across Germany. In 2012 the company was the first one in Germany to be certified by StrAus-Zert for the general protection of work places. The projects comprise traffic security services for the extension of City Traffic Lines, securing large areas for events such as concerts, church conventions, sport events among others. This transaction will further strengthen AVS Verkehrsicherung’s presence in Germany and its core regions.

AVS is a leading specialist provider of highway traffic safety services in Germany. The Company, headquartered in Kuerten, offers all essential services throughout highway traffic-safety projects, especially for major projects on federal motorways. These services range from initial planning and obtaining permits to complete construction site setup and security. For more than 30 years, AVS has been offering complete services for traffic safeguarding from a single source. With its special expertise in mobile traffic signal systems and mobile crash barriers, the AVS group is represented in Germany by a team of over 500 employees at 14 locations.

This is the second deal advised by ARQIS Rechtsanwälte for AVS. In August 2018, the team led by Jörn-Christian Schulze had advised AVS on the acquisition of KMK Projekts, a leading provider of traffic safety products and permanent road marking in Latvia.
