ARQIS has advised AVS Verkehrssicherung GmbH on the acquisition of SRV Verkehrstechnik GmbH. The portfolio company of Triton Fonds IV is thus taking over a renowned provider of road marking and construction site safety services.

SRV was founded in 1990 to meet the high demand for infrastructure services in the former East German states. The professional application of white or yellow road markings in paint, hot or cold plastic is the specialty of SRV. Services in the field of traffic safety and the necessary road equipment complete the portfolio.

AVS Verkehrssicherung, headquartered in Leverkusen, is a leading specialist provider of traffic safety services in Germany and Europe. The company is represented at over 25 locations in Germany and internationally at more than 10 locations in Belgium, Denmark and Latvia. AVS employs around 1,100 people.

The Triton funds invest in medium-sized companies based in Europe and support their development. Currently, 43 companies with a turnover of approximately 17.4 billion euros and 96,700 employees are in Triton’s portfolio.

ARQIS is again accompanying an acquisition for AVS. This year alone, the team around ARQIS partner Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze advised on the acquisition of the construction site safety company Implenia SVA GmbH and the traffic engineering specialists Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH.
